Mark Kaplan, owner

Growing up in the family hardware and appliance business, Howard's Kitchen Studio owner Mark Kaplan has been involved in home improvement his entire life. He helped customers select the right appliances and plumbing choices while working in the business during high school and college. He also gained experience working with the contractors and understanding what products worked best for their jobs...and most importantly, learned the value of good customer relations. After college, Mark joined his father, Howard and mother Helen, using his business education to expand the company into kitchen remodeling. Over the years, as the kitchen remodeling business grew and grew, Mark opened a separate showroom just for kitchen remodeing - Howard's Kitchen Studio (named in honor of his father).

Today, Mark concentrates only on remodeling. He personally supervises every project to guarantee your complete satisfaction. Never one to be limited by the timeclock, Mark can always be reached by cell phone to answer any of your concerns.

Sandee Daye, CMKBD

The team of experienced designers is led by Sandee Daye, CMKBD. Sandee achieved professional designation of CKD (Certified Kitchen Designer) in 1993, CBD (Certified Bath Designer) in 2004, and CMKBD (Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer) in 2005.  These certifications are based on documented proof of knowledge, ability and experience in the design of residential kitchens.  The CMKBD recognition is the highest level of achievement and accomplishment offered by the National Kitchen & Bath Association.  As a CMKDB, Sandee is not only qualified to do the total job for the consumer, but her assistance to architects, interior designers and builders is invaluable when it comes to technical knowledge, product supply, and supervision in the planning and development of today's sophisicated residential kitchens.

Linda Fischer

Linda has over 25 years design experience the last 8 years specializing in kitchen and bath design.  She graduated with Honors both academically and professionally from the University of Cincinnati, College of Design Art Architecture and Design.  With a major in Design and a minor in Fine Art she brings a trained eye into the design process. She recently obtained her certification from the NKBA.

Linda is well versed in traditional, contemporary and eclectic design with a long list of satisfied customers.  When not spending time with her husband and teenage son she pursues her interest and hobby in cooking classes and learning "anything new in the kitchen".  Her interest in cooking brings a sense of organization, planning and efficiency to her work.

Linda believes that a designer's challenge is to strike a balance between beauty and function, which will always remain a challenge.  She believes that the ability to capture this delicate balance is the thread that keeps design exciting and the client feeling special.

The most important aspect of designing kitchens and baths is the use of materials and the needs and wishes of the client.
