Mark Kaplan, Owner

Growing up in the family hardware and appliance business, Howard’s Kitchen Studio owner Mark Kaplan has been involved in home improvement his entire life. He helped customers select the right appliances and plumbing choices while working in the business during high school and college. He also gained experience working with the contractors and understanding what products worked best for their jobs…and most importantly, learned the value of good customer relations. After college, Mark joined his father, Howard and mother Helen, using his business education to expand the company into kitchen remodeling. Over the years, as the kitchen remodeling business grew and grew, Mark opened a separate showroom just for kitchen remodeling – Howard’s Kitchen Studio (named in honor of his father).

Today, Mark concentrates only on remodeling. He personally supervises every project to guarantee your complete satisfaction. Never one to be limited by the time clock, Mark can always be reached by cell phone to answer any of your concerns.

Jeannie Monroe, Senior Designer

Jeannie Monroe is a Certified Kitchen Designer and longstanding active member of the National Kitchen & Bath Association. She brings over 30 years of experience in the Kitchen & Bath Industry. 

“My passion is to help create beautiful, unique, personalized and especially functional kitchen & bath spaces for our clients,” says Jeannie. She continues to invest in ongoing education and best practices, as well as attending industry-related events to keep updated on new products and trends. 

Jeannie makes it her priority to help our clients achieve their desired end results. “I also strive to ensure that your remodeling project and process will be both an enjoyable experience and a worthwhile investment,” she adds. 

Jane Copeland

Jane Copeland has been involved in the cabinetry and design business for approximately 40 years with experience in both the development of residential and commercial projects. “I have been blessed to meet and work with an array of amazing people, and never tire of making someone's dream a reality,” says Jane. 

“I have developed trusting relationships with my clients as I listen carefully and create spaces to their desired specifications. Because of this, many clients have followed me from one home to their next. I also appreciate the referrals they give to family and friends.” 

Jane’s greatest joy is spending time with her family, which includes three beautiful grandchildren, a small farm and lots of special friends.  In her spare time, she loves to bake, cook and travel. 

Amberly Steltenkamp 

Amberly Steltenkamp is a passionate designer with nearly a decade of experience in this creative space. To date, she has spent much of her professional career specializing in cabinetry drawings, 3D renderings, and creating spaces that are as beautiful as they are functional. 

“Designing is my passion, and nothing makes me happier than helping others transform their goals into realities. I am also someone who pedestals transparency and professionalism, treats every design as if it were my own, and firmly believes that everyone deserves a quality space they can be proud to call their own” says Amberly. 

Outside of work, you can usually find Amberly practicing yoga, visiting National Parks with her son or spending time at home, working on various home improvement projects. “Overall, there is nothing quite like the feeling of watching a house transform into a home," she says. 

Ariel Noble

With a passion for design and problem-solving, Ariel thrives on transforming kitchens into practical and beautiful environments. She specializes in creating functional and stylish spaces that not only delight clients but also respect their budgets. 

 “My journey in kitchen remodeling began at a large big box chain, where I honed my skills in catering to customers on a limited budget,” says Ariel. This experience instilled in her a keen understanding of the fundamentals of kitchen design and a sensitivity to cost-effective solutions. 

“Now at Howard’s Kitchen Studio, I enjoy the creative freedom and access to a broader selection of products that allow me to bring both my ideas and our clients' dreams to life,” she added. Ariel’s ability to blend aesthetics with functionality ensures that every kitchen she designs is both a joy to use and a pleasure to look at. 

When she's not busy crafting beautiful kitchens, Ariel loves spending her free time reading and cherishing moments with her spouse and their two young sons.
